Breakfast that Surpassed Expectations

The breakfast spread was a good mix of homemade bread and jams, complemented by an excellent range of choices. The staff's helpfulness stood out.

I found the sound insulation lacking, a bit difficult to avoid noises from the hallway late at night. The limited evening dining options left me wanting more.

The room had a decent layout that was comfortable for a family with adequate space for luggage. Some nice touches, like the charming dala horse decor, added a bit of local flair.

The restaurant was closed off to a large group, limiting dining options . I couldn't find a menu for other meals, frustrating. Cleaning missed some spots under the beds and in the wardrobe, and the sound insulation made it difficult to avoid noise from the hallway, particularly doors slamming at odd hours.

The location is fantastic with easy access to city attractions, and the staff was helpful, making my stay pleasant.

Limited dinner options and outdated bathroom facilities might disappoint those expecting more variety and modern amenities.

The location allowed us to see what we wanted right in the town and close to everything.

The front of the building (and our room) is on a fairly busy road and because it was quite warm we had to have our window open. The noise was a problem until later in the evening.

Unique local history made it an engaging visit.

The staff were particularly attentive, helping me with local transport options. Breakfast was varied and delicious, with something for everyone's taste. The location is close to beautiful Siljan lake, which I enjoyed visiting.

Convenient location - close to lake, town center and the Zorn Museum. Dala horse factories in hearby villages!

Location was good. Shopping, Lake , Museum all walking distance.

I did not like that there was not air conditioning. I did not like the dirty carpet.

The recently renovated hotel boasts a cozy atmosphere with beautiful Dala horse decor. Check-in was smooth, and the breakfast offered an impressive array of choices. The absence of a kettle in the room was a minor inconvenience. Parking was plentiful.

I stayed in a basic double room for 3 nights at Hotell Fridhemsgatan and it was a lovely experience. The location was perfect, with access to the city center and nearby attractions. The room was clean, and the breakfast had plenty of delicious options that exceeded my expectations.
